ased on over 20 years of experience in the maintenance and precise recreation of costumes for ballet, Ms. Hynes is considered to be a leading authority representing the teaching of costume reproduction of many established designs by ballet designers such as Karinska and Irene Sharaff. On Behalf of the George Balanchine Trust and the Jerome Robbins Estate, she has assisted many companies in the U.S. and abroad including; the Royal Danish Ballet in Copenhagen, Denmark; Paris Opera in Paris, France; Theatre du Capitol in Toulouse, France; The Bavarian State Ballet in Munich, Germany; The Cincinnati Ballet; The San Francisco Ballet; The Birmingham Royal Ballet in Birmingham, England; The Royal Ballet in London, England; The Miami City Ballet, La Scala, Milan, Italy; The Het National Ballet in Amsterdam; The Hamburg Ballet in Germany;  The Berlin National Ballet in Germany; Dresden SemperOper Ballet in Dresden, Germany and The Kirov Ballet in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

In her role as costume consultant, Ms. Hynes provides elaborate and comprehensive costume "bibles" with detailed information on color, fabrics, trims, headpieces and precise dimensions of each historical costume. In most cases, she personally visits the costume shops for on-site consultation and approval, fittings and  for dress rehearsals.
