About This Project

Designing my second full-length Nutcracker in 2016 with Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and the Charlotte Ballet was a deeply meaningful experience. Jean-Pierre had such gentle whimsy and kindness—he even visited my home to review sketches and swatches, which made the process feel all the more personal. I was thrilled to collaborate again with the immensely talented Alain Vaës, whose lavish set designs once more brought the production to life. It was an unforgettable creative journey with a remarkable team.
