About This Project

Designing my first full-length Nutcracker with Devon Carney and the Kansas City Ballet in 2015 was pure joy. Devon’s wonderful sense of humor and imaginative vision brought fresh life to the story, and our collaboration was a true creative partnership. I also had the pleasure of working with the brilliant Alain Vaës, whose lavish set designs added a magical richness to the production. The entire company was a dream to work with—it was an experience I’ll always cherish.
