About This Project

Otra Vez, Otra Vez, Otra Vez marked my first collaboration with the gifted Chicago-based choreographer Stephanie Martinez, and it was a joy to work with her on this evocative ballet for Oklahoma City Ballet. Though it was Stephanie’s fourth time staging this particular work, her passion for its themes felt as fresh and powerful. The colors for this ballet were Inspired in part by Picasso’s painting, The Old Guitarist. Her movement vocabulary, is both grounded and expressive. I enjoyed supporting her vision and working with her.
