About

One/end/One

A remake for Tulsa. Working with Jorma on ONE/end/ONE was a joy. His choreography, set to Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4, is both athletic and elegant, and I aimed to reflect that in the costumes. For the women, I designed tutus that blend classical structure with contemporary flair—stiff, layered skirts with a modern edge, incorporating horsehair cloth for crispness. The men's costumes were sleek and dynamic, complementing the choreography's energy. Jorma and I have collaborated before, and each time, his openness and creativity make the process invigorating. Designing for ONE/end/ONE felt like bringing a friend home to meet the family .
